Event Schedule*

11am-4pm Sunday April 5th, 2009,

The Great Meadow -West Campus Lawn

Santa Barbara City College

Free flying of your kite  is allowed and encouraged all day long outside of
kite flying competition area (theres lots of room to fly).

Please respect the event participants inside the competition area

Do not fly your kite or your child’s kite over the competition area please.

• 11am Kite Tail Chase for children (all ages, age groups too)

 (Note there will be approximately 20 kite “tail chases” held today

So there is plenty of chances to children of all ages 5 to 12 to participate)

• 12noon- Most Beautiful Kite
• 12:30pm- Free Fly
• 1pm- Sport Flying
• 2pm-3pm-  Kite Fighting
• 3pm -Highest Flying Kite, Junior (under 12) and Senior (over 12)

• BATHROOMS WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE OF EVENT (BEHIND THE FOUNTAIN, 75 YARDS AT PATIO/COMMUNICATIONS BUILDING. LOOK FOR BATHROOM SIGN)
• Kites on sale at the event for reasonable prices
• Village Modern Foods Catering food and beverage for sale
• Free Admission, Free parking,
